In this lesson you will review each components of the Student Achievement section when reviewing data and projections.
1. Overall Student Achievement
- A donut chart provides the overall domain rating for Districts and Campuses.
- Calculation tab offers more information about the breakdown of the overall rating and score.
- Methodology tab provides more information about the particular methods of retrieving such data.
- The Component Scores of Domain 1 bar chart offers two views into the overall projection results within this domain.
- Scaled Scores will show the scaled values of each component
- Raw Scores will show the raw scores of each component
2. STAAR Component Score
STAAR Component Score card is based on answering the question, How are the students performing on STAAR tests?
- The donut chart provides a quick view of the percentage of students that meet the above criteria.
- Click to view Score Computation to review more information about the number of assessments and mastery breakdowns in terms of student achievement, in each of the subject areas tested.
3. CCMR Component Score
CCMR Component Score card helps to answer the question, Are students prepared for success after high school?
- The donut chart provides a quick view of the percentage of students that meet the above criteria.
- Click to view Score Computation to review more information about how prepared students are for success after high school, between raw and scaled score results.
4. Graduation Rate Component Score
Graduation Component Score card helps to answer the question, Did the students graduate in time?
- The donut chart provides a quick view of the percentage of students that meet the above criteria.
- Click to view Score Computation to review more information about the graduation rate between 4, 5, and 6 years, by raw and scale score.
- Dropout Rate is used when Graduation Rates are not available.
When Graduation Rates of all three years are not available, then Dropout Rate is used.
