Assignment Options for Personalized Review Assignments (PRA) – SchoolCity

This lesson reviews available Assignment Options when creating Personalized Review Assignments for students.

Before You Get Started

Before starting this lesson, make sure to have:

At least 1 Published status (green) Item Bank, Answer Key Only, or ExamView Assessment to be administered online.
At least 1 PRA Resource/Activity already selected.

Where to Start

Within the assessment Rescore, select the Setup tab.
Select PRA.

Select Assignment Options.

Adjust the PRA Formula

Adjust the minimum and maximum values based on the number of resources, not including the Challenge Activity. The tool will not allow you to change the formula if activities or resources are not available.
At any time, restore to the Default Minimum/Maximum Settings.
Select Save to keep any changes made.

By default, PRA minimums and maximums are set based on student performance and resources created. In most circumstances, you will not need to adjust the formula.

Change the Threshold

Select to change the threshold from 100 to another value. Think of this as a percentage score of when the PRA Resource and Activities should be administered to students based on their assessments.
Select Save to keep any changes made.

By default, the PRA Threshold is set to 100%, meaning if a student misses at least 1 item tied to a standard or skill, the PRA Resources as assigned will be administered to students.

Disable Prescribed Order of Resources & Activities

Select the checkbox to disable the PRA prescribed order, allowing students to complete activities in any desired order.
Select Save to keep any changes made.

By default, PRA resources and activities are required and assigned based on assessment results.

Save, Student Preview, & Done Editing

Select Save to confirm changes made and PRAs applied.
A green checkmark will appear.
To preview how students will see the new settings, select Student Preview.
