A Unique Assessment ID appears throughout the School City platform allowing users to identify, manage, and report on an assessment using the ID. An Assessment ID is a 10-digit number containing numeric values only.
If a district or organization wants to enable the Assessment ID feature, they'll need to contact their Customer Success Manager (CSM) to submit their request. Once enabled by the Engineering team, the CSM will follow up with confirmation.
What Determines the Number of a Unique Assessment ID?
A Unique Assessment ID is a 10-digit number with the first four numbers based on the school year the assessment is created followed by six random numbers. For example, if an assessment is created during the 2022-2023 school year, the first four numbers will be 2223 and the following number may be 123456, making a complete ten-digit Unique Assessment ID number of 2223123456.
Why is an Assessment ID Beneficial?
The use of a unique Assessment ID will avoid potential interaction with the incorrect assessment. Additionally, it will also allow users to receive Customer Support more efficiently by referencing the Assessment ID instead of the assessment name.
