Additional tooling has been added to support the Test Results Report, allowing users to set Proficiency Goals for individual assessments (AKO and IB only). The Proficiency Goal is the minimum percentage of students that should attain proficiency on the assessment.
If a district or organization wants to enable the Proficiency Goal feature, they'll need to contact their Customer Success Manager (CSM) to submit their request. Once enabled by the Engineering team, the CSM will follow up with confirmation.
Adding a Proficiency Goal
- Select Assessments from the Grid.
- Select the green Create Assessments button located in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Select Item Bank from the dropdown menu
- On the Performance Level step, enter a Proficiency Goal into the text box.
There can only be one goal per assessment, regardless of how many Performance Levels are selected, or how many Assessment Grade Levels are tied to a single assessment.
For linked assessments, the same Proficiency Goal tool will also be added to the New Linked Assessment workflow within the Performance Level setup screen.
Test Results Report
When a Performance Goal value is set for an assessment, the value will appear as a line on the By Proficient / Not Proficient Chart and the goal value will appear as hover text, visible when viewing the column chart type. To learn more about the Test Results Report, take a look at the Test Results Report article.
If a Performance Goal has not been set up, neither the line nor the legend symbol will be displayed.
