This lesson navigates users to the Student Notes & Markup review tool. This tool is useful to gain insight into a student's thought process while reading a passage and completing items within an assessment. This tool displays student's highlights, item-level notes, annotations, and underlinings.
Where to Start
- Go to the Grid, then select Assessments.
- Select the dropdown arrow in the Functions column.
- Select View Student Notes & Markups.
- Use the drop-downs to filter by School, Teacher, and Period.
- Select the View Student Notes & Markup tab.
- Use the radio buttons the view By Student or By Item.
View By Student
- Use the drop-down menu to select a student.
- Use the table to view items notes and post-test notes for each item.
- Select Next to move to the next student.
- Select View Student Mark Up to view student annotations.
- Student markups may appear within item passages or questions.
- Use the numbers to search to move through the questions.
- Select Exit Full Screen to go back to the View Student Notes & Markup page.
View by Item
- Use the drop-down menu to select an item.
- The item and correct answer will display.
- Use the table to view student notes during and post-test notes for each student.
