This lesson reviews the Upload History tab under the Settings menu on the TXPRO app. Admin users with the appropriate role permissions can use this page to view the upload history for previously uploaded assessment data.
Before You Begin
Required Permissions: Admin Role, TXPRO Data Upload permission or higher
This lesson begins assuming users have SchoolCity role permissions to access TXPRO, and have already logged in. For help with TXPRO permissions, visit Enable TXPRO Role Permissions. For help with logging in, visit TXPRO Login.
Where to Start
- Select the Settings gear icon.
Upload History
- Select the Upload History tab.
- A warning message appears at the top of the page indicating, "Any changes made on this page may result in recalculation of accountability projections for the entire school district." Select the X icon to hide this message.
- A log of previously uploaded data files appears in a table, including the file name, the user that uploaded the file, the date and time it was uploaded, the file size, upload status, and file details link.
- If data files were just uploaded from the Data Upload tab, a popup message indicating the file submission will appear in the bottom corner.
- Select the desired Status labels to filter the upload history log.
- Processing - The file is currently in the process of being uploaded.
- Completed - The file has successfully uploaded.
- Failed - The file failed to upload.
- Select the Details link for the desired file to view further information regarding the upload of the file.
- Files with the Completed and Failed status will have Details information, but Processing files will not display a Details link until they have finished processing.
File Details
- Data files with the Completed status will display a details screen with a green header, and the following information:
- File size
- Uploaded by
- Date and time uploaded
- Date and time processed
- Number of rows imported
- Assessments processed
- Accountability projections
- Data files with the Failed status will display a details screen with a red header, and the following information:
- File size
- Uploaded by
- Date and time uploaded
- Date and time processed
- Number of rows imported
- Accountability projections
- Reason for failed status
The details given regarding a failed status file can be used to correct file issues and re-upload data as appropriate. Reasons for failure might indicate an incorrect file format type, incorrect assessment data type, incorrect academic year, etc.
Delete Files
- Select the checkbox under the Delete column for the desired files.
- Only files with the Completed or Failed status are available to delete. Files in Processing status must finish processing before they can be deleted.
- Select the Delete button.
- A Confirm File Deletion popup window appears. Select Cancel to discontinue the deletion process and return to the Upload History page. Select Delete to continue the deletion process. Any selected files will be permanently deleted.
