Once an assessment has been published, users at the Teacher and School level may share an assessment they have created with other users, depending on permissions granted by the district. District-level assessments are already available to all users within the district, so the sharing feature is not an option.
Before You Begin
An assessment must be Published prior to sharing. District level assessments cannot be Shared (sharing up only), and the appropriate permissions must be enabled within the user role.
The Sharing feature requires that assessments be shared to an account other than the one the assessment was authored by. Although there are users who have multiple roles assigned to their account (e.g., Teacher and School, or School and District), they cannot share assessments to their own other user roles.
Where to Start
- In the Top Menu Bar, select the down arrow to open the navigation menu and select Assessments.
- Find the desired published assessment from the list in the Assessment Manager.
- Check the box next to the assessment name.
- Select the sharing icon located above the Functions column.
Share Assessment
In this example, permission has been granted to share assessments district-wide.
- The top line displays the Assessment Name, Subject, and Assessment Type.
- Choose one of four ways to share: Entire District, Selected Grades, Selected Schools, or Selected Users (default setting).
