This lesson reviews the Data Upload tab under the Settings menu on the TXPRO app. Admin users with the appropriate role permissions can use this page to upload STAAR and TELPAS data files to the TXPRO app to use in accountability projection scores.
Before You Begin
Required Permissions: Admin Role, TXPRO Data Upload permission or higher
This lesson begins assuming users have SchoolCity role permissions to access TXPRO, and have already logged in. For help with TXPRO permissions, visit Enable TXPRO Role Permissions. For help with logging in, visit TXPRO Login.
Where to Start
- Select the Settings gear icon.
Data Upload
- Select the Data Upload tab.
- A warning message appears at the top of the page indicating, "Any changes made on this page may result in recalculation of accountability projections for the entire school district." Select the X icon to hide this message.
- Drag and drop computer files to the indicated area, or select the Upload Files button, and select the desired files to upload.
Uploaded files should contain STAAR or TELPAS data, and must be formatted as .dat or .txt files, as received from the state. At this time, Consolidated Accountability File (CAF) based accountability projections are not supported.
- A message indicating the date and time the last score calculation was completed is available for reference at the bottom of the Data Upload page along with the number of included students.
- The uploaded file or files will appear in the upload area. Select the X icon to remove any undesired data files.
- Select Cancel to discontinue uploading data. Select Submit to confirm the data upload.
- If the data upload was submitted, a confirmation popup appears. Select Cancel to return to the Data Upload screen. Select Submit to confirm the data upload.
Submitting new data files on the Data Upload tab may result in recalculation of accountability projections for the entire school district.
- If the data upload was canceled, a confirmation popup appears. Select Stay on this tab to return to the Data Upload screen. Select Leave this tab to cancel the data upload.
