The Quintile Report uses individual or aggregate assessment data and distributes students into five equal groups, or quintiles, with an average percent correct displayed for each quintile. Quintile Reports help identify which students are in need of intervention. The Subcluster Intervention Report organizes student performance by subclusters (specific concepts or topics) to guide teachers in providing targeted intervention. Within each subcluster, students are organized into two categories - "Got it!" and "Not Yet" - using a selected cut score. The Quintile and Subcluster Intervention reports utilize one process to filter to the desired subject, students, and assessments, which provides users with an in-app combined report. This lesson walks through how to create this combination report.

Student growth is reported as Full Credit (F), Partial Credit (P), No Credit (N), or No Data (ND). Students with 0 points earn No Credit (N), half points earn Partial Credit (P), and 1 point earn Full Credit (F). The calculations match those of the Annual Growth Points tables provided by TEA.
The color-coded STAAR Growth options include No Credit (N), Partial Credit (P), Full Credit (F), and No Data (ND). Students who do not have two consecutive years of STAAR data will not receive a Growth score, and will be classified as No Data (ND).
When applied, the STAAR Growth color-coding highlights the student Growth column with the associated code color within the Assessment Quintile table. This allows users to view student growth at a glance. These highlights can be mixed and matched to show none, some, or all growth colors at once, with any combination of Performance Level highlights and/or Column Visibility.
The STAAR Performance Level checkboxes do not function as filters. The selections draw attention to the students in those growth categories.
Quintile Assessment reports display the student First Name, Last Name, %, and Growth columns for each Quintile by default, but also include the option to toggle on and off additional data columns within the report table. These optional columns include Group Students, ID, Performance Level (STAAR only), and Demographics.
Toggling on the Group Students column adds a column of checkboxes to the left of each student name. It also reveals the + Create Student Group button, which allows users to create a student group from the currently selected students.
Toggling on the ID column adds the Student ID column to the left of each student name.
Toggling on the Performance Level column adds the Performance Level column to the right of the Growth column for eligible assessments, which contains the written out Performance Level text name.
