The following are recommendations and considerations for the naming of an assessments in the application for ease of identification across the District, School and Teacher user Levels.
RECOMMENDATIONS | |
---|---|
DISTRICT |
Roles and Permissions: Admin and District level users (and other roles as decided by the District Administrator) have permission to create and edit District Assessments. School and Teacher level users normally have permission to view, administer, and score District Assessments.
Suggested Naming Protocol: School Year_Subject_Grade_Topic name Example: 2021_Math_Algebra1_Q1 |
SCHOOL |
Roles and Permissions: School level users (and other roles as decided by the District Administrator) have permission to create and edit School Assessments. Teacher level users normally have permission to view, administer, and score School Assessments.
Suggested Naming Protocol: School Year_School_Subject_Grade_Topic name Example: 2021_Maryland_ELA_Grade 3_Benchmark 3 |
TEACHER |
Roles and Permissions: Teacher level users have permission to create, edit, administer, score, and delete their own created assessments. Because these assessments can be shared with other Teacher users according to District permissions, it is suggested that enough information be included in the name so others understand what the assessment covers. Suggested Naming Protocol: School Year_School_Subject_Grade_TeacherName_Topic name Example: 2021_Maryland_Math_G6_Flanary_RP Check |
