District administrators assigned the Admin Role have the ability to create Performance Level Templates that can be used when creating assessments within the application for reporting purposes. Additionally, Admin users may assign the role of Template Manager (with permission to View, Create/Edit, Copy, and/or Delete templates) to any other users in the district.
This article provides an overview of how to create and manage assessment Performance Level Templates.
Where to Start
- From the Top Menu Bar Grid icon, click the Admin tile.
Templates - Performance Level
- In this example, multiple templates have been created.
- Create New Template.
- Preview a template by clicking on the template name.
- Click on the down arrow under Functions to Edit, Rename, or see its History.
- Make a Copy of the template.
- Delete a template by checking the open box next to the template name and clicking the Delete (trashcan) icon. You may not delete a template that another user has created without permission to do so.
Edit a Template
- Click on the down arrow under Functions and select Edit.
- The Template Name may be changed.
- The Performance Level label may be changed.
- The Description may be modified.
- The level for Proficient may be changed.
- The Color Code may be changed by clicking on the color box. Select a new color from the choices offered.
- Change the Percentage From value.
- Delete a level.
- Add a Performance Level.
Rename a Template
- Click on the down arrow under Functions and select Rename.
- Rename the Template as desired, then click Save.
- A message will appear confirming this action. Click OK to continue.
View History
- Click on the down arrow under Functions and select History.
- Note the Activity Date, Activity, and User Full Name.
Copy a Template
- Select the template you want to copy by checking the open box next to the template name.
- Select the Copy icon (double pages).
- Name the template copy, then click Save.
- A message will appear confirming this action. Click OK to continue.
Create New Template
- Click on Create New Template.
- Create a Template Name.
- Click on Add Performance Level to add as many levels as desired for the new template.
4. Build Performance Levels from the LOWEST to HIGHEST. Label each level.
5. Write a Description of each level in the text box.
6. Select the level for Proficient.
7. Select the Color Code for each level by clicking in the color box and choosing from the colors offered.
8. Determine the Percentage From values for each level above the lowest level, which will be automatically set at 0.
9. Click Save when the template is complete. It will be automatically added to the list of available templates. (Click Back to return to the list of templates.)
10. A message will appear confirming this action. Click OK to continue.
